Google Apps Calendar Issues- 6/30 - Post Mortem

We believe all issues related to the Google Calendar outage have been resolved, so we wanted to provide a post mortem on the issue

The Issue: Google Calendar Server Error

What we did:  


·  Contacted Google to confirm outage on Google Calendar
·  Confirmed that all other apps, such as Gmail and Google Drive were still accessible to users
·  Informed all Google Apps clients of outage


The Resolution:  The Google Apps support team resolved the issue


What we can do better to prevent this from happening again: There were no preventative measures Kinetix could have taken. If Google experiences problems in the future, we will be sure to inform all clients in a timely manner.
